Druhý nedělní závod Premier Trophy se jel v Newcastlu. Domící tým tam hostil jezdce Sheffield Tigers. Diamond na své soupeře nestačili a podlehli jim 39:50. O největší příděl bodů v domácím týmu se postarali Craig Branney a Steve Boxall. Oba jich měli na svém kontě devět. To v týmu Tigers měli nejlepší jezdci Ricky Ashwort a Chris Mills po čtrnácti bodech a jednom bonusu k tomu.
